But for those of use who do need to use the confirm: the syntax given is
non-functional, it seems to want lots of "+" signs along the lines of:

CONFIRM EMBL+DB
CONFIRM +GENBANK
CONFIRM BIO+SOFT
CONFIRM +BIONEWS
