It says you can't use it to create databases, but it says you can use it to run programs created with the development kit. Can I run a program developed with the development kit to create or modify (data definitions of) a database on a system with only the development kit? I have the development kit on my development system, and the run-time kit on my production system. I can always to my DB management across the network from my development system, but since my network link is only 9600 baud (or less, it is over a stat mux), that could be painful, to say the least! I can convert my sql procedures to module procedures and write a wrapper program, if that would work (we haven't actually installed the run-time kit on the production system yet, so I can't test it). -- Terry Poot The McCall Pattern Company (uucp: ...!rutgers!ksuvax1!mccall!tp) 615 McCall Road (800)255-2762, in KS (913)776-4041 Manhattan, KS 66502, USA
