I have never heard of records being lost as a result but if the system crashed with data in a buffer it could conceivably lose the buffered record that wasn't committed to the disk. 5.0 is a one way trip BTW... once you convert you'll never WANT to go back tom leylan ex-senior systems analyst / Nantucket Corp.
