Subject: Dead or Dying modem...

I have a Avetex 1200hc modem, and lately, I`ve noticed that after it is
done with a call, or I send the hangup command, or I loose carrier, it won't
hang up... I just keeps the line open, and then if I call it, or someone
else, it is busy because the line is held open (low/high??)  also, I've
noticed that I cant PULSE dial with it now... luckily, I have a touch
tone line, so I use that... BUT I can't get it to close the line, unless
I turn it off, and back on... I would like to sell it, or use it as a
backup for a future bbs, but like that, its no good to me.
Does anyone have any suggestions (a relay bad?) or can point me to a cheap
repair center... unfortunatly, its out of warranty... It had a two year one
on it, but that ended in December of 90, and this has pretty much just
started.
