A friend of mine (without access to the NET) has an RS/6000 that he would
like to get another editor for (seems he doesn't much care for vi).  If
possible (and practical) would someone please  offer to send me a compiled
version of GnuEMACS.  He asks for compiled because he would prefer not to
have to mess with building it himself.

However, I understand that EMACS is quite large (>1MB).  Rather than clog
the network (and my host) would you please just send me E-mail to indicate
your willingness to do this.  I will then FTP it (or whatever) from your
site.

If the cross posting was inappropriate, I apologize.   :-)
