I think that the editor that comes with FST's Modula-2 will handle this and it has very nice function key controls (block copy/move/delete, global replace, etc.) I know that you can use the big name editors (WordPerfect, WordStar, MS Word, and so on and so on) and simply save the file in ASCII mode. I don't know of any that don't have ASCII formatting. Brian
