Hello all,

I am hopeing that someone out there can save me some grief!

Does anybody know of any work/references concerned with distributing
data contained in an octtree decomposition over a distributed memory
MIMD type machine.

The actual architectures we have here are transputer and i860 based
Meiko Computing Surfaces but I would be interested in any work done on
MIMD machines.

My thoughts are towards a data distributed parallel ray tracer.

Please send e-mail direct (if you can - this is my first attempt at
world communication) and I'll post a summary if enough people are
interested.
