Being a sys admin I end up with quite a number of messages that include other mail messages all flush with the left margin. In elm (2.3 patch level 9), if I try to read this mail, I'll see only the first message. Succeeding included messages get swallowed up (probably because they lack enough header info to declare it a real message.) If one such message comes in, newmail shows that two or more messages came in because it sees a from: line and possibly a subject: line. In the beginning, I would edit the mail file, indent the subsequent messages and then call elm again. Obviously, this isn't the solution.
