I think that this machine is a PC (disk about 300 Mo) under ka9q, equipped with an Appletalk-PC card. As on Appletalks IP numbers are dynamically assigned, the nameservers have a hard task. My nslookup usually provides several dozens of addresses when in debug mode, then core-dumps :-(. In normal mode it displays the first possible one, but that address usually doesn't work. The manager of the site has provided a way of discovering the current address by issuing the finger minakami@neon.stanford.edu command.
