The two machines are both somewhat nonstandard, so I don't know who's fault it is. The error logs on one of them is very verbose though, so I know exactly what's happening. One is sending/expecting CR terminated strings, while the other is sending/expecting NULL terminated strings. Anyone know which is standard? dave fischer davefr@idsvax.ids.com
