Remember, though, that what Lotus was planning to do was apparently legal. Rather than waiting for some other company, perhaps less concerned about public sentiment, to offer a similar product, let me suggest that you now write your Congresspersons stating what you found objectionable about the project and asking that it be made illegal. This will undoubtedly require some careful thought to avoid a "cure" worse than the "disease". Alex McKenzie
