Just wondering if anyone has seen programs to do the following: 1) Digitize sound (i.e., with Perfect Sound hardware) directly to hard disk. 2) Convert GIF images to NewTek's Dynamic hi-res mode. It seemed to me that Dynamic hi-res would be a great way to show some of those 640x480 256 color GIFs, in their original resolution. The first idea may turn into a personal project, if no one has done this, so suggestions, comments, etc. are welcome. I also have a friend who is looking for an FTP site with CUCUG disks 45 and up. There may have been mention of this on the net a while back, but neither of us caught it. Last, he wants to know if a new version of SID (directory utility) has been released recently, and is available via anonymous FTP. Thanks in advance - Dave Black.
