Message-ID: <43330@ut-emx.uucp> Date: 28 Jan 91 20:34:22 GMT Sender: news@ut-emx.uucp Reply-To: rmr@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu (Randy M. Roberts) Organization: The University of Texas at Austin Lines: 33 Originator: rmr@grumpy.cc.utexas.edu I have a copy of VLT, but I don't have the latest documentation. Is there anyway to use VLT in an auto-answer mode and dial-up from work to transfer files to/from the Amiga with at least a small amount of security? I know about DNET, but it isn't installed on our UNIX machine here, and I don't have the diskspace to install it in my local directory tree. I would like to use Kermit for the file transfer protocol. If there is a better choice than VLT, by all means, tell me. P.S. If Willy Langeveld (sp?) is reading this... 1) How can I get a copy of the newest VLT docs. Are they snail-mailed? If so... Randy M. Or at least have it remember where it last was when it was closed. I used to like switching back and forth between the review and main window (while looking at the same spot in the review buffer).
