Keywords: dungeon master Message-ID: <4288@syma.sussex.ac.uk> Date: 23 Jan 91 11:40:36 GMT Organization: University of Sussex Lines: 34 There are a couple of DM1 spells that I'm confused by... Essentially there are two spells to light ones way around. 1. Ful i.e. a magic torch according to the scroll and 2. Oh ir ra which simply is light according to the scroll. Are there useful differences between these two ? Secondly the spell for darkness, i.e. Des ir sar: has anyone found a use for this. I find I can be equally beaten senseless in the full light of day or in complete darrkness. I must admit I havn't tried this comparison with all foes but i havn't got that much time to waste ! I havn't tried invisibility yet; presumably i can sneak past things without being attacked ? Thanks for any help. John Upham, (Chemical Physics Ph.D) University of Sussex, Brighton, UK.
