Lines: 27 G'day. I'm almost sure I've seen this question posted before, but I've never seen an answer. My Amiga has recently developed a sporadic problem with its string requestors. What happens is that I'll press a key, and it will just REPPPPPPPPPPPEAT very very quickly. Pressing another key stops the repeat, but 'backspace' seems to take forever to start deleting characters (Amiga-X works instantly though). I mostly notice this happening in the string requestors for Cygnus Ed, [since I use CED a lot] but I've seen other programs do it (Quarterback, Mandelblitz). I have an A2500 with 2090a disk controller, GVP 30Mhz 68030/68882, 4Mb 32 bit memory, 4Mb 16 bit memory on an 8Up! board, 1Mb chip, Fat agnus, ASDG dual serial board, and a 'cherry' keyboard (with the normal key sized function keys, and red topped 'Amiga' keys.) I'm running under Workbench 1.3.2 with MyMenu, PopupMenu, Popcli, Arexx, Ced and some AmigaUUCP stuff running/resident. Any hints as to what my problem may be? Dac _l _ _ // Andrew Clayton.
