Thanks Dave! So, now all us A2091 owners have to do is get ahold of these new ROM's with the finally corrected device driver. The problem is that it apparently hasn't been released yet. The local dealer doesn't know anything about it. The A2091 is a nice "controller" (host adapter, really) except for this one long standing problem with the driver (and perhaps that the TRMPWR line isn't fused, and the terminators aren't socketed :-)). This has been a really frustrating problem for all of us, and probably hasn't given the Amiga a lot of good press. Dave, is there *any* information you can divulge on when and/or how these ROM's will become available? It feels like it's been *forever* since the problem was identified, and a fix promised. I know you're *only* an Engineer there, but if you could give us something or get the "right person" to give us some status, I'm sure it would lower the volume of these discussions. (Well probably not, but we could always hope!) >Dave Haynie Commodore-Amiga (Amiga 3000) "The Crew That Never Rests" -hans ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hans-Gabriel Ridder Digital Equipment Corporation ridder@elvira.enet.dec.com Customer Support Center ...decwrl!elvira.enet!ridder Colorado Springs, CO
