Message-ID: <43022@nigel.ee.udel.edu> Date: 28 Jan 91 23:48:24 GMT Sender: mmdf@ee.udel.edu Lines: 15 I've got an Amiga 1000 that I purchased back in `86. It's been sitting in a suitcase under my bed for about two years (I didn't have room for it and my XT clone at the same time, and I got paid for working on the XT). It's the original hardware, 512K + external disk drive. What can I do with this beast? Back in `87 I couldn't afford to put memory in it, or a hard drive -- are there cheaper alternatives now? Can I upgrade the hardware itself (ROM's, co-processors, etc)? Is there a faster version of AmigaDOS? I'm sorry to be asking all these novice questions, but I've really fallen out of touch with the Amiga world, and I really appreciate your answers. Thanks in advance, Nils Davis (ndavis@intellicorp.com) -------
