A lot of effort is wasted in squeezing games into 512K (and you suggest using even less memory) which does nothing but degrade the quality of the game and it make it much less likely that I will buy it. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that people with no money to spend on a little memory aren't going to buy hundreds of dollars worth of games. People with money buy games.
