Commodore HAS a standard set of keyboard shortcuts. RTFRKM! It is in there. Just because no one listens to Commodore's requests doesn't mean CBM hasn't proposed a standard. The style guide really shouldn't be necessary. Most programmers know when their program is doing things "unusually". They decide in advance whether to do things traditionally or differently, and no style guide will change that.
