True, Norton was writing utils a long time ago, but Copy II+ was written a long time ago too... Copy II+ was up to version 5 in 1985, and I've seen v.3 point something a few years before that. According to this ad in the August '85 Nibble, Copy II+ was originally written in 1981. I think the IBM PC just came out at that time, so Copy II+ is older than NU.
