It's too bad ProTerm's global macros won't work inside the editor, otherwise I could have the whole thing figured out. I grab the your "From" header and move the colon to the end. Then I reformat the quote as a paragraph (using the OA-O command) and manually insert a CR and '>' at the end of each line. There will automatically be a space after the '>' if you do it this way.
