I own the PC Transporter, and am relatively happy with it (as I don't do 
anything but what my classes at FAU REQUIRE!

The manual is quite right about the drive.  I formatted a disk at hom on 
(that messed up--at least locally) at home on the PCT.  When I attempted to 
access the disks at school on the PS/2s, an error resulted (seek error I 
think?)  Oh well...I'm just careful to use IBM formatted disks when 
transfer is important.
