Standard disclaimers apply! | You are less than 10 miles away from Maryland's largest Atari dealer -- Toad Computers in Severna Park, MD. Their phone number is (301) 544-6943. Looking at their wintertime catalog I see that Atari is now making three lines of computers; the 68000 based STs, the 68030 based TTs, and the Portfolio (an MS-DOG based handheld portable). Since the Tramiel's acquired control of Atari the company seems to have focused on the European market and, in the opinion of many, ignored the domestic market. In Europe the Atari is considered to be a serious computer, in the USA Atari tends to be equated with toy. As someone who runs OS-9 and MINIX on my ST in addition to GEM =I= realize that Atari computers are more than toys. -- Jerry Gitomer at National Political Resources Inc, Alexandria, VA USA I am apolitical, have no resources, and speak only for myself.
