Subject: LaTeX font structure

  I am in the process of installing LaTeX on my 1meg 520 (with MF30), and
I find that no matter what I set the environment variables to (in gulam)
that both showdvi and dviprint, can not find the proper fonts.  In fact
dviprint can not find ANY of the fonts.  I should also note that I do
not have the fonts in the standard (f:) directories.  Could someone help
me by telling me the proper directory structure.  Are the fonts I found
in tfm suitable?  Do they have to have a certain structure (subdirectory)
or can I lump them all into one directory.  Thanks in advance.
