We currently have a single MSC adapter, with 9 ~600Mbyte spindles. We are thinking of buying a bunch of 1.2Gbyte drives. Encore remarkets the Wren-7 drives for this purpose. If anyone knows of any 3-rd party suppliers specializing in Encore disk storage, we would very much appreciate hearing what you have to say (good or bad). We have already been contacted by National Peripherals Inc, a 3-rd party supplier that does specialize in Encore. If anyone has had experience dealing with NPI, please drop us a note and let us know if you are a happy customer. Finally, does anyone know if used/refurbished MSC cards are available anywhere? The huge pricetag for a new card is scaring us away. PLEASE RESPOND TO ME VIA E-MAIL: I AM NOT A SUBSCRIBER TO THIS LIST. (although I probably should be :-) Many many thanks, Bob Enger Contel Federal Systems enger@seka.scc.com (Internet)
