VandeVegt | University of Nebraska | I have ran across several 80-Data machines, most of them have been a lot of trouble. There was one 386/20 with a 16mhz CPU, another one had the BIOS and DRAM chips with pins not in the sockets, and I have a 286/10 here that refuses to boot (something wrong with the DMA). Out of the hundreds of machines I have delt with this past year, I have found 5 dead 80-Data's 1 dead PS/2-70 motherboard 1 dead Sperry (mitsubisi, or however you spell it) 1 DOA Top Microsystems 386sx and no dead DTK's (and I see more of these than anything else). Given that track record, I would not buy 80-Data. I have also not had great luck with any 386sx's for some reason but I dont know why (I have used about 10 in the past three months).
