    Street Electronics "Echo PC" Speech synthesizer with female vocabulary
    disk - $100 or best offer

    Not your average synthesizer.  It does the normal text-to-speech that
    sounds a little robotic, but also includes "Echo Words", a
    separate disk that includes a completely human sounding female voice
    vocabulary of 719 words and phrases. 

    It's a sepearte box (smaller than a VHS tape) that connects to your PC
    via a serial port.  The RS-232 cable and power supply are included
    along with a manual for the "Echo PC Synthesizer" and the "Echo Words"
    female vocabulary disk.  The synth is callable from BASIC or just copy
    to your serial port.
