Lines: 14 I used a Toshiba TC55257-10 chip (because I had it in my junk box), but any JEDEC-standard 32Kx8 SRAM (like the 43256) should do. This will cost around ten dollars. To install it, pull off the platen knob, and press two plastic spring latches (one on either side of the front edge of the printer). The cover should hinge open backwards, and the RAM goes into the empty 28-pin socket behind the platen. Good luck. /mike -- \|/ Michael L.
