This is the motherboard memory. The Model 80 did not have SIMMs SIPPs, etc. but rather large memory cards. These memory cards fit into either of two connectors on the motherboard just above the MCA slots and below the power supply. You will be able to use the 1 MB and the 2 MB cards in the 16 MHZ Model 80, but not the 4 MB cards. The 4MB card will go in the 25 MHz Model 80, but I'm not sure about the 20MHz & the 4MB card. This gives you a maximum of 4MB on the motherboard. >3) Would it be possible to buy 2MB or 4MB SIMMs to replace the ones in the > machine now? On the motherboard not the INTEL card. Yes (2BMB) and no (4MB). hh -- Harry Haas GTRI/RIDL/DB "What makes it DO that!?" - Bones Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 uucp: ...!{decvax,hplabs,ncar,purdue,rutgers}!gatech!prism!hh2 Internet: hh2@prism.gatech.edu hhaas@{gtri01|rmadsun}.gatech.edu
