We had VxWorks running as the kernel with Excelan ethernet cards. This worked very well as a development environment hosted by Sun's. In fact, Wind River Systems (VxWorks) and Sun Microsystems have a version of dbxtool which supports remote debugging from the Sun for code running on the VME board. VxWorks supports a number of different 68k cards and ethernet cards. -- Larry Hattery NOT AFFILIATED WITH TECHBOOKS TriplePoint, Inc. larryha@techbook.com 15080 SW Kilchis Phone: (503) 649-6410 Beaverton, OR 97007-6818 FAX: (503) 641-1785
