SUM II says that it is "unable to repair" the error.  Does anyone know
whether Norton Utilities for the Mac will repair such an error?  I
believe that I've had this error for quite a while, undetected, since
it wasn't until today that I tried Quick Fix.


First effort to clear this up would involve running Apple's Disk First Aid.
Make sure you use the latest version (gulp.  what is the latest version?   In
fact what version am I using? OK, I have 1.42. Sigh)
