I followed the instructions to a tee. I used SetHRMS to set the restrictions to none (space) and the security level to access to 40 (my validated users all have SL of 40). I used ResEdit to add a "V" to the correct STR# resource and set the character for Democracy to recognize as a "V". I also set the sysop SL to 255 (my security level). What happens is that when I log on I can access Democracy through the regular externals menu (by pressing period) but not by pressing "V". Also, my users can't access Democracy by pressing either a period or "V". Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? I know it CAN work because Frank Price has it set up on the Support Board. Anyway, if anyone can understand what I'm even talking about I'd like to hear from you. Thanks. --------- Steve Trottier Internet: trottiers AOL: STrottier sysop, Mainly Macintosh BBS - (801) 374-5438
