I just got hold of MEWS to read usenet from my mac SE/30. It sounds like
a great way to read news, but I can't get it to work.  I put the right
server addresses in, but when it tries to login to the news server I get
the following message:

"Error: Unable to open newsgroup date file"

According to the MEWS manual, this is a MacTCP error message, but doesn't 
explain it.  What am I doing wrong?
