I thought the original poster was having problems with an external drive (where the Official Apple Word According To Some Tech Note is to remove the internals and put the black one on). BTW, where did you get a full-height mounting bracket for the IIfx? I'd love to move my Wren IV inside my II, but I can't seem to find anyone who has the brackets. -- Matthew T.
