Perhaps one of you kind souls out there in never-never land could help me. I am searching for a good source that will document the format of sound files, such as those created by a MacRecorder or a SID. I am beginning a project that will need to examine some waveforms, and I don't know how they are stored. Obviousy, I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I have to start somewhere. I am pretty good with C, and will be using Lightspeed C at a campus site, where I don't have access to th manuals (at least not easily). If someone could let me know where to start (i.e., tech notes, inside mac, word-of-mouth, religous chants..), I would be most appreciative. Thank you very much. Read Fritsch RAFST3@vms.cis.pitt.edu
