Has anyone out there bought a 19" Trinitron monitor and 24bit card?

Does anyone out there know if Apple is planning to sell a 19" in the near
future?

We have a professor interested in purchasing a monitor and card, but
the best price we are getting is still too high? ($5000) Emachines, Mirror,
Apple and RasterOps are under consideration (quality/price qualifications).
