Mike Holm, the HyperCard Product Manager from Claris, says, and I quote...

"Here's the scoop on 2.0v2 availability from Claris:
 
"In general, 2.0v2 will only be available through Claris channels.  Claris will
NOT be releasing it through user groups.  Users who obtained HyperCard 2.0 from
a licensed user group, developer, or through Apple, can get v2 if they need it
by calling Claris support.  If they did not obtain 2.0 through a legitimate
source, they are NOT entitled to get 2.0v2 for free.
 
"The only case where a user could get 2.0v2 from a source other than Claris is
when the program is included with a licensed third party product.  Such
products sometimes include the HyperCard Program and a Home Stack under license
from Apple or Claris.
 
"Users who need 2.0v2 and have a legitimately obtained 2.0 (by one of the
sources listed above), will be sent the 2.0v2 program -- NOT a full 2.0 upgrade
kit.
 
"Hope this clears up any questions."
