I think that some of the NeXT advocates are falling into the same trap as some of the Amiga advocates have. I realize there a lot of areas where technically the Amiga or the NeXT are better (multitasks, real Unix, etc.). That doesn't mean that I'm going sell my SE/30 and run out and buy one. There are considerations such as software & hardware investment. What I actually use my Mac for and would any of these features which may be lacking on the Mac really make any difference. Another important reason is that my wife uses a Mac at work and she wanted to be able to work at home.
