There are three issues that I am confronting: 1. Am I allowed to disable or enable menu items in the Edit menu (assuming I change them back to their original state)? 2. Am I allowed to use the MenuKey function, and if so, do I have any Apple guarantee of what menu ID and item numbers are the Edit menu ones? 3. What can I do if I want the F1-F4 keys to perform their undo, copy, cut, and paste functions? A reasonable answer to any of these questions is that I should replace the menu bar with my own and put it back when I'm deactivated. On a similar topic: Does anyone know wheter there are any official menu ID's (not resource numbers, ID's) that I should use in the cdev for pop-up menus I have? I can't find any documentation on any of these. Thanks. pr -- Pete Resnick (...so what is a mojo, and why would one be rising?)
