There is a uudecode utility for the Macintosh called UUTool 1.2. It is freeware and was written by Bernie Wieser. It is available for anonymous ftp from sumex-aim.stanford.edu For those unfamiliar with ftp, here is roughly what you do. Assuming that you are on a machine connected to the Internet, type: ftp sumex-aim.stanford.edu [login with the name "anonymous" and your mail address as the password] cd /info-mac/util get uutool-12.hqx quit The ls command also works in ftp, so you can look at the available files. If this procedure doesn't work, consult your local guru.
