Please excuse the noise, fellow netters... I have a used Thunderscan for $100. Works good, older unit, but I scanned Iraq map with it last night. Works fine under 6.05 and Multi-Finder, though I'd hesitate to try much in background under MF while scanning. Probably has older, less capable version of the image processing S/W, but I can't compare. It will set contrast and brightness nicely, but other editing is pretty weak. I just use SuperPaint for touchup. I think it has all the original stuff with it, minus a couple of roller strips for the ImageWriter platen (I don't use them anyway; don't really need them, and alignment is touchy), and the document holder pocket (to put small items in for scanning. It's supposed to be like a non-glossy VueGraph or overhead slide holder.) Manuals and original disc are definitely there. All this stuff is at home, so I'm working from memory.
