I just inherited an old (1989) CDC drive that I plan to use as an external drive on my NeXT. It's a 91 Meg SCSI drive (model # 94211-091M). Unfortunately, the jumpers are all missing and I don't have a technical manual. My guess would be that the jumpers are *similar* to other drives in the 94211 series or even the larger WREN drives. Here's what they look like. Right next to the SCSI connector, there's a set of 1(vertical) x 8 pins. Right next to that, there's a set of 2 x 4 pins. Can someone please look in his/her CDC tech. manual and see what they are? Guesses are welcome. Thanks in advance! Wilson Chan wilson@media-lab.media.mit.edu wilson@athena.mit.edu
