I heard this from someone who works at the computer store that sells them. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this and what the price difference is likely to be? Not that anyone has any reason to listen to me (because I don't know), but I think this is probably just a rumor. It wouldn't make all that great of business sense to raise the price of something _after_ you've sold a billion of them. If NeXT wanted to make more money, the time is now (everyone's been impressed with the price of the NextStations, I think). By this summer, they'll have sold the majority of the systems they sell this year (I mean that as in 60% or so, not 90% :-). I think standard practice is to _lower_ prices to spur sales. Just comments. Again, I don't know, so don't use me as a reference when spreading this rumor . . . -- scott hess scott@gac.edu Independent NeXT Developer GAC Undergrad "Tried anarchy, once.
