I am in the process of setting up a network for a work group on our
campus and need to buy a cartridge tape subsystem for backing up the
fileserver.  I am interested in recommendations/tales of woe for the
various offerings currently on the market.  Budget constraints
precluse DAT/Exabyte as a choice - we have about $700 - $800 to spend

will summarize to the net if there is sufficient interest.
