Blankscreen worked fine. Then someone changed the blankscreen time interval via blanktime ( on the command line ) to zero. Subsequently, I could not get the console to blank ( when no one was logged on to the console ). If someone was logged in on the console, I could get it to blank by issuing the approporiate blanktime command; but when that user logged out, it would no longer blank. If visuallogin is turned on, it blanks. What's going on? Email and I will post. Thanks. bill
