I'd like to know which terminal I should try to emulate, if I made a communications program which duty was to work between a UNIX and a MS-DOS machine. I was thinking about some VT terminal, but what would be enough? I don't need graphics (excluding MS-DOS graphical characters). I'd also need the specifications (about the terminal I'd be emulating. And since I'm a beginner (in the area) the termcap entry of a terminal isn't enough. I'm curently using a VT-320 emulating program (pc-kermit 3.01) which emulating I find sufficiently satisfying. So I'd need the specs in 'human language' because I'm not (atleas yet) familiar with these termcap entrys.) And please reply by email, because I only read this newsgroup about once a week and I don't want your reply be un-noticed because of 'gnus-Subject-catch-up' command. Thanks in advance. -- -=- Pertti Karppinen -=- pjka@jyu.fi -=- pjka@finjyu.bitnet -=- jylk::pjka -=- 'Bridge Players do it on the table.'
