Message-ID: Date: 28 Jan 91 19:55:50 GMT Sender: news@travis.csd.harris.com Organization: Harris Computer Systems Division Lines: 29 I just got a brand new TeX tape from the kind folks at the University of Washington on one machine it installs perfectly, on another machine when I run the triptrap, the MF tests fail to produce the same results. The results I am supposed to get look like: Tracing edges at line 74: (weight 1) (4,0)(4,1)(5,1)(5,3)(4,3)(4,1)(5,1)(5,0)(6,0)(6,1)(5,1)(5,3) (4,3)(4,1)(3,1)(3,0). The results I actually get look like: Tracing edges at line 74: (weight 1) (4,0)(4,1)(5,1)(5,3)(4,3)?(6,1)(6,1)(5,1)(5,3)(4,3)(4,1)(3,1) (3,0). I just thought I would ask the net to point me to the area of code in mf that is likely to be wrong. I would like to debug the compiler that is apparently generating the incorrect code without actually having to become an expert on the MetaFont program at the same time. Any clues you can give me would be appreciated.
