Subject: plain TeX bold math type needed

Can anyone tell me where I can find a macro which will allow me to
produce bold math type in plain TeX?  I know that a \boldmath macro is
available in the lfonts file, but I do not know how to extract it.  I am
using plain TeX macros to typeset my dissertation, and therefore cannot
use LaTeX.
