I'm in the process in doing the update. The kit contains 26 update diskettes and 2 new boot disks, a new installation diskette, and a new maintenance disk. Yes, I do confirm that the kit was offered in tape form for the update diskettes. The PTF release notes are more or less correct. PLEASE NOTE, you will need a fair amount of hard disk space to install this upgrade. You need a least 44,000 blocks on / (root) and 4,600 blocks on /tmp. If you use the method which builds a large backup set from diskettes you will need about 85-90,000 free blocks just to build the large backup set. I will keep you all posted....
