We also run a Computone (Intelliport) and have found
that the 3.14 firmware and 4.28 drivers are the only
ones which work correctly in our installation.

We lock the modems at 19.2, and use only hardware
flow control.   Their is a single gettydefs entry
(no-rotating) for each port -
